What is a VNG test?
Videonystagmography, commonly called VNG, records eye movements to help evaluate the vestibular system. It can support the assessment of vertigo and imbalance when the clinical history and examination indicate that vestibular testing is needed.
Who may need VNG testing?
A VNG test may be considered for persistent or recurrent dizziness, unexplained imbalance and selected vertigo presentations. Not every dizzy patient requires VNG; the need for testing is decided after a specialist consultation.
Clinic location
VNG testing is performed at HealthNest Clinic, Shop 1A (Ground Floor), Tower P4, Chandra Panorama, Golf City, Sector B, Ansal API, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226030. No separate diagnostic-centre visit is required when the test is advised.
